Boutique Retail

Project Overview

SpaceForge designed and built this boutique retail interior in Abu Dhabi for a private client. The brief was to create a modern, high-end fashion retail space with a continuous layout that guides customers through the store naturally, no hard partitions, no visual clutter, while giving every product category its own defined zone. The design language is built around soft arched openings, cylindrical columns, and warm sand-toned plaster finishes that give the space a gallery-like calm uncommon in retail. Custom joinery runs the length of the store, backlit timber shelving units, integrated garment rails with matte black hardware, and a bespoke curved reception counter, all manufactured in-house at our Dubai production facility. Lighting was designed to do two jobs: ambient wash from concealed coves to set the tone, and precision track spots on each display bay to draw attention to the merchandise without competing with the architecture. The flooring is polished micro-cement, chosen for durability under foot traffic and for the way it reflects light back into the space. The result is a retail fit-out that feels closer to a curated showroom than a conventional store, where the interior does the selling quietly.
